Location


Hybrid with up to 50% travel to client location. Candidates located within 25 miles of a DXC office are required to work onsite two days per week. Preferred locations: Halifax, NS & Toronto, ON.


Overview


This is a business consulting role centered on process design, advisory, and stakeholder engagement within ServiceNow projects. The BPC ensures that people and processes are aligned with the platform’s capabilities, enabling clients to realize the full value of their ServiceNow investment. This role is not responsible for development, scripting, or technical configuration of the platform.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and Maintain ITOM Solutions: develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CSDM adherence etc.)

  • Good understanding of ServiceNow toolsets.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM modules, including scripting (JavaScript), workflow design, and UI modifications.

  • Implement and maintain service maps and discovery schedules to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration data.

  • Configure event rules, alerts, and notifications within ServiceNow Event Management to automate incident creation and response.

  • Experience with ITOM integrations (SailPoint, SAP, SCCM, Dynatrace etc.).

  • Interacts with client management to answer questions, solve problems and requests regarding complex system issues.

  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience.

  • Experience working with appropriate ServiceNow ITOM functions and tools.

  • Certifications in ServiceNow ITOM space, like discovery, service mapping, etc.

  • Experience working with company products and services.

  • Experience working with company and client documentation and ServiceNow ITOM Management procedures.

  • Experience developing complex ServiceNow ITOM Management implementations and organizational processes.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
