Position Summary
This position is responsible for the management of trade spend, including the oversight of the Trade Management Software, and the management of Customer financial metrics. Work involves conducting Monthly Business Reviews (MBR’s), Business Planning and driving Account team financial performance.



A day in the life of a Senior Sales Financial Analyst:

Analyze and provide key insights for regional Trade Budget:
• Analyze revenue performance, trends and exceptions preparing monthly summary reports and presentations.
• Provide Customer Team Sales/Profit Management reporting, tracking and forecasting to assist in customer business planning and development.
• Responsible for updating revenue Tracking to ensure Trade Spend activities will achieve desired targets; requires influencing appropriate actions by Sales Management.
• Prepare and present financial analysis to properly communicate issues to various levels of management.



Provide support in financial analysis, reporting, and performance forecasting; ensures that all plans, forecasting and results are accurate, timely and in accordance with Nestlé Accounting standards:
• Drives the GAP management process for the region/portfolio.
• Performing ongoing analysis of results versus budget and driving corrective actions with Finance Manager.
• Develops tools and business models to support decision making.
• Conducts ad hoc analysis to improve business performance.
• Disseminates reports to key internal stakeholders providing insightful commentary into the business factors that create a positive effect on results.
• Lead Business Planning process ensuring timely, accurate trade spend and volume inputs.

Ensure effective use of MBR’s to align on and manage team and corporate expectations:
• Ability to consult with business managers on improving financial performance and execute plans.
• Monthly corrective actions to achieve revenue goals.
• Monthly Budget Reconciliations.



What will make you successful?
• Completion of University Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• Financial acumen with strong understanding of P&L drivers.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or comparable role.

Experience within a Consumer Packaged Goods company is considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in presenting to both small and large groups.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.
• Ability to present financial information to non-financial users.
• Results, detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills (PowerBI, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SAP would be an asset.
