Reporting to the Estimating Manager , the Senior Rebar Estimator, based in Markham or Kitchener, will be responsible for estimating the rebars needed for multiple construction (commercial, residential, infrastructure) projects demands.

Role and responsabilities:
Oversee the acquisition of complete tender documents for takeoff purposes;
Takeoff complete and accurate estimate for pricing;
Provide budget quantities & suggestions for a customer’s proposed projects;
Have a positive & helpful line of communication with the detailing departement;
Participate and attend pre-tender award meetings, management meetings and staff meetings.
Qualifications
College diploma in civil engineering, estimating or drafting;
5 to 7 years of estimating experience;
3 to 5 years of experience estimating rebar projects;
Ability to work on mutiple projects;
Autonomy, creative, flexible;
High level of organization;
Very good communication skills;
