<p>Our client is a leading ICI construction company based in Burlington, ON, delivering institutional, commercial, and industrial projects across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. With a strong reputation for quality builds and collaborative project delivery, they are seeking an experienced <b>Senior Project Manager</b> to oversee complex projects and play a key leadership role in their continued growth.</p>
<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The <b>Senior Project Manager</b> will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of ICI construction, and proven experience managing large-scale projects.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of ICI construction projects ranging from $10M to $100M+.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.</li>
<li>Manage project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring alignment with project goals.</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation and administration of project schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on all job sites.</li>
<li>Conduct risk assessments and proactively resolve project issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.</li>
<li>Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams during project pursuit and award.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and leadership to Project Managers, Coordinators, and Site Superintendents.</li>
<li>Drive value engineering, innovative solutions, and best practices to achieve project and client success.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of progressive project management experience in the ICI construction industry.</li>
<li>Proven success delivering projects $10M+ in size, ideally within institutional or commercial sectors.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project management methodologies.</li>
<li>Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).</li>
<li>Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to lead diverse project teams and foster collaboration across stakeholders.</li>
<li>Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.</li>
<li>PMP designation, Gold Seal Certification, or equivalent credentials considered an asset.</li>
