<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in the Windsor, ON area!</p><p><br></p><p>What is in it for you?</p><ul><li>Be a part of a dynamic, progressive global organization</li><li>Above-average compensation package</li><li>Great team environment</li><li>Be a part of an organization that offers career growth</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Adhere to the company standard equipment/tool specifications</li><li>Develop detailed RFQ's for new equipment, including both process flows and cycle times for each operation.</li><li>Participate and lead equipment design reviews and MOP activities.</li><li>Reliability analysis vs. FMEA and current manufacturing processes</li><li>Participate in design reviews</li><li>Procure equipment with the involvement of plant engineering/manufacturing teams and the purchasing department.</li><li>Commission manufacturing equipment from the selection phase through to the production phase (established with manufacturing)</li><li>Design ergonomically appropriate equipment</li><li>Assess design assumptions & risk, manufacturing feasibility, cost & timing (FMEA)</li><li>Determine preventative maintenance & and repair costs for equipment (identify spare parts requirements)</li><li>Determine start-up or launch costs of assembly equipment</li><li>Determine appropriate parameters & and production controls based on customer product specifications</li><li>Record parameters, production processes, tracking & and documentation in the database</li><li>Analyze manufacturing efficiency & conduct problem-solving & corrective action</li><li>PCP adherence & and completing all required documentation</li><li>Provide cost analysis justifications for capital investments (PAR’s)</li><li>Sign off on equipment at integrators' cycle times)</li><li>Support the quote team activity and R&D activity on the acquisition team</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Experience and Educational Background:</p><ul><li>Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of experience</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience with automotive, powertrain, sub-systems, controls, processing & assembly-related equipment</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Knowledge Skills and Abilities:</p><ul><li>D.O.E., problem solving & statistical methods training</li><li>Value Analysis / Value Engineering planning & and experience</li><li>Dynamic communication / interpersonal skills.</li><li>Fluency in English is mandatory. </li><li>Highly organized and possesses good decision-making skills.</li><li>Must have demonstrable technical presentation skills.</li><li>Superb computer literacy, including MS Office</li><li>CAD experience is preferred.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.</li><li>Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards, as applicable to the position.</li><li>Facility planning and line-balancing principles</li></ul><p><br></p><p>ACCU-STAFF is committed to providing accessible employment practices that follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
