We foster a community-like environment while delivering professional services.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br/>As a <strong>Senior Tax Manager</strong> in our Domestic Tax team, you'll manage client relationships across various industries, collaborate with top Canadian tax professionals, and support your professional growth. You will work with colleagues across service lines such as Assurance, Advisory, and Specialty Tax to provide personalized solutions.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain client relationships within a variety of industries</li><li>Lead and develop our growing tax practice</li><li>Assist clients with tax planning, compliance, and complex trust matters</li><li>Identify new opportunities for tax services</li><li>Provide exceptional client service and stay updated on legislation</li><li>Mentor and coach professional staff</li><li>Prepare and present information to clients and colleagues</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Taxation</li><li>Experience with succession, trust, estate, corporate, and personal tax planning</li><li>Strong client service commitment</li><li>Creative problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and in teams</li><li>Interest in coaching and personal growth</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality</li></ul><p><strong>Working at Doane Grant Thornton</strong><br/>Our culture emphasizes community, support, and professional development.
