In this role, you will play a crucial part in a major business transformation project, focusing on the design and development of innovative, high-quality, blended learning solutions. You will provide oversight and subject matter expertise, ensuring all learning programs are aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities. This position requires a collaborative individual with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.</p><p>This is a <b>two-year contract</b> position that can be worked <b>remotely</b> from anywhere in Canada, with work hours following the Eastern time zone.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide oversight on the design and development of learning programs, ensuring they align with business objectives and leverage common content structures.</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert in instructional design, offering expertise in various delivery methods, including virtual classrooms, eLearning, webinars, and in-person workshops.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and various stakeholders, such as Learning Solution Architects, Program Managers, and Subject Matter Experts, to create and deliver effective learning solutions.</li><li>Ensure the quality of all learning content and maintain a current understanding of industry trends, best practices, and performance consulting.</li><li>Create content for the transformation project and assist with content translation.</li><li>Manage project files and participate in regular project meetings.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>8+ years</b> of experience in learning and development.</li><li><b>College diploma/certificate</b> is required.</li><li>Proven experience in <b>quality control</b> and an exceptional <b>attention to detail</b>.</li><li>Expertise with <b>eLearning tools and standards</b> (e.g., SCORM, AICC, HTML) and <b>industry development software</b> such as Captivate, Articulate, and Adobe Connect.</li><li>Previous experience in the <b>banking or financial sector</b> is a must-have.</li><li>Strong <b>interpersonal and communication skills</b> (both verbal and written) and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Experience with people management.</li></ul><p>If you are a results-driven L&D professional with a passion for creating impactful learning solutions, we encourage you to apply.
