The architect serves as a bridge between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring system consistency, scalability, and security. Occasional evening or weekend support or deployment work is required for this position.</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions</li><li>Collaborate with development, support, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless system integration</li><li>Produce architecture deliverables (diagrams, models, technical specifications)</li><li>Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools</li><li>Participate in cost estimation and implementation planning</li><li>Provide support for applications and integrations as needed</li><li>Act as a coach to application teams to address and prevent integration issues at the source</li><li>Participate in vendor negotiations and relationships</li><li>Define and maintain the information systems architecture map</li><li>Develop architectural frameworks to guide IT projects</li><li>Ensure alignment between business strategies and technological capabilities</li><li>Oversee organization-wide architecture standards, norms, and principles</li><li>Contribute to technology watch activities</li><li>Support IT governance and project portfolio management</li></ul>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field</li><li>5 to 10 years of experience in IT architecture</li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English, as well as oral comprehension</li><li>Strong knowledge of integration, security, cloud (Azure, AWS), microservices, and APIs</li><li>Excellent communication, simplification, cross-functional leadership, and strong autonomy</li></ul>
<h3>Tools and Technologies</h3><ul><li><b>Boomi Integration, Boomi Flow</b></li><li><b>Power App, Power Automate, GitHub, SQL, Power BI, Java, Grids</b></li><li><b>Infor M3 Cloud (ION, MEC, EC-CFT server, API, SDK-H5 Apps, Experience Designer, Velocity Suite, Scheduling, Monitoring, etc.)</b> – Major asset</li><li>Familiarity with <b>Ortec, Verizon, and Bizspeed solutions</b> – Asset</li><li>Knowledge of <b>EDI technologies</b> – Asset</li><li>Knowledge of <b>AI tools and concepts</b> – Asset</li><li>Understanding of <b>Enterprise Architecture frameworks</b> – Asset</li><li>Experience in <b>regulated environments</b> (e.g., agri-food) – Asset</li><li>Proficiency in <b>French and/or Spanish</b></li></ul>
