Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Ottawa. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects by applying your expertise in construction and project management to ensure quality outcomes that align with our mission of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs and timelines.
- Utilize AutoCAD or drafting and design work.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare reports on project progress and compliance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for project execution.
- Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve project efficiency.
- Overseeing estimating team (Canadian & International)
- Manage and overseeing permit application processes
- Review and stamp construction drawing
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other similar softwares
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with construction inspection processes.
