<p><p><b>Salary</b><br/>The salary range for this position is CAD $38.12 - $54.80 / hour</p><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>Fraser Health is the largest health authority in British Columbia, serving 35 per cent of the province’s population, or more than 1.9 million people in 20 communities. Fraser Health is responsible for a wide range of services, including:</p><ul><li>12 acute care hospitals</li><li>Outpatient care and day surgery center</li><li>Urgent care facilities</li><li>Over 7,760 long-term care beds</li><li>Mental health care & services</li><li>Public health services</li><li>Home health services</li><li>Community care services</li></ul><p>At the core of this organization, the <b>Integration Services Team</b> provides advanced integration and interoperability solutions and services. We operate a massive and dedicated infrastructure that acts as a service bus, connecting acute care facilities, ancillary clinical systems, provincial registries, eHealth and Corporate Systems, Ministry of Health, other health authorities. More than 3.5 million messages are disseminated daily by our interfaces.</p><p>We are looking for an <b>Integration Senior Business Analyst</b> with a strong background in Microsoft technologies.</p><p>We are seeking candidates with the following education and technical skills:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in health information computer science, software engineering, or a related field.</li><li>At least five (3+) years of designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions. Strong understanding of integration patterns, data transformation and reliable messaging. Experiences in BizTalk will be an asset.</li><li>At least five (3+) years hands-on experience developing code in C# and T-SQL and PowerShell scripts.</li><li>Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, WCF Services, Web Services, SQL SSIS packages, MSMQ.</li><li>Working knowledge of medical standards such as HL7 and FHIR will be an asset.</li><li>Comfortable user of Git, DevOps, Visual Studio, and other tools used in the development work.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud technologies would be an asset.</li></ul>

You will translate business needs into data flows and integration patterns.</li><li>Great communicator. You know how to convey technical and non-technical information to audiences of different backgrounds.</li><li>Liaise with various teams, cooperate with business stakeholders, project managers, leads and business analysts.</li><li>Self-starter. You can work with minimal instructions and you have the ability to organize and prioritize your work and to assist junior and senior integration staff when requested.</li><li>Passionate about integration and emerging technologies. You have a technical inquisitive mind and are interested in learning new technologies in this domain.</li><li>Excellent leadership skills. You are a strategic thinker who can align the analysis with business goals, understand stakeholder pain points, and communicate clearly with accountability and adaptability.</li></ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Analyze business needs: assess and define requirements to ensure integration projects align with business objectives.</li>
<li>Solution architecture and design: collaborate with senior integration staff, stakeholders and vendors to understand business and technical requirements, data transformation, routing and filtering, exceptions and conditions. Translate business requirements into technical design and evaluate pros/cons and potential points of failure.</li>
<li>Development: develop interfaces in BizTalk and related artifacts. Adhere to coding standards and guidelines. Coordinate contractors’ work if applicable.</li>
<li>Configuration and deployment: configure BizTalk applications, set up ports, adapters and orchestrations, and deploy solutions to development, testing and production environments.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and debug: identify and resolve issues related to message routing, transformation, and processing.</li>
<li>Performance optimization: optimize BizTalk applications for performance, scalability, and reliability through tuning, monitoring, and best practices.</li>
<li>Documentation: create technical documentation such as design specifications, mapping specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Obtain project sign-off and document lessons learned.</li>
<li>Maintenance and support: provide ongoing support and maintenance, including applying patches and updates.</li>
<li>Communication: facilitate proper communication between groups; organize presentations and knowledge transfer sessions.</li>

<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<h3>Education and Experience</h3>
<p>Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Systems Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, related experience in a medium to large sized organization. Experience with health and corporate information systems.</p>
