<p><b>Position:</b> Security Team Lead<br/><b>Site:</b> CF Markville Mall<br/><b>City:</b> Markham<br/><b>Status:</b> Full-Time - Days<br/><b>Hours:</b> Continental Days - Week 1 - 1000 to 2000 hrs<br/>Week 2 - 1100 to 2300 hrs<br/><b>Pay Rate:</b> $20.55/hr</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the security team during daily operations.</li>
<li>Supervise staff performance, maintain staffing coverage, and ensure all team members follow established procedures.</li>
<li>Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and security concerns in a calm and professional manner.</li>
<li>Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure a secure and safe environment.</li>
<li>Prepare incident reports, documentation, and follow‑up summaries as required.</li>
<li>Coordinate with mall management, tenants, contractors, and emergency services when necessary.</li>
<li>Assist in training new security staff and promoting consistent adherence to protocols.</li>
<li>Monitor CCTV systems and access control points as needed.</li>
<li>Support the development and continuous improvement of safety processes and incident‑response plans.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications & Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2–3 years of security experience, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.</li>
<li>Previous supervisory or team lead experience is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills.</li>
<li>Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act, Criminal Code, and emergency response procedures.</li>
<li>Proficiency in report writing and basic computer skills.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Prerequisites</h3>
<ul>
<li>Legally Authorized to Work in Canada Full-Time</li>
<li>Valid Security License for the province of Ontario</li>
<li>Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB‑approved vendor)</li>
<li>Valid G Drivers Licence</li>
<li>Proof of Covid Vaccine two doses</li>
</ul>

<li>Valid G Licence</li>
<li>Valid Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED</li>

<li>2 years of security supervisor experience</li>
