If you think you have what it takes to join our team, we want to meet you!</p><h3>Position Details</h3><ul><li><b>Position:</b> Security Shift Lead - Full-Time - Brockville General Hospital (75 Charles St)</li><li><b>Site:</b> Brockville General Hospital - 75 Charles</li><li><b>Hours:</b> Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700</li><li><b>Pay rate:</b> $22.74/hour</li><li><b>Overtime Method:</b> ON-Averaging Agreement OT over 88 hours</li><li><b>Internal Posting Date:</b> September 4, 2025</li><li><b>Internal Closing Date:</b> September 11, 2025</li><li><b>External Closing Date:</b> October 31, 2025</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Working as a Security Guard you will be responsible for completing investigations and incident reports.</li><li>Perform consistent patrols and interact with the public to provide good customer service and keep the Clients and visitors safe.</li><li>Join our dynamic team at Brockville General Hospital!</li><li>Complete incident reporting and end-of-shift reports</li><li>Supervise and monitor guests, staff, and patients to ensure a proactive approach to incidents</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Valid Ontario Security Guard License</li><li>Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)</li><li>Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test</li><li>Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum double vaccination)</li><li>Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Tuberculosis are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.</li><li>Immunization Records: access to immunization records instructions</li><li>Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)</li><li>Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experience</li><li>Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently</li><li>Fluency in English (verbal/written) required</li><li>Fluency in French is considered an asset</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.)</li><li>6+ months previous security experience is preferred</li><li>Previous healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an asset</li><li>Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)</li><li>Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin\'s UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
