We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions! <br><br>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>Job Description<p>Allied Universal is seeking<strong> Professional Security Guard</strong> in London, Ontario. </p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong><strong>Job Title</strong>: Security Professional </p><p><strong>Job Location</strong>: Timmins, ON</p><p><strong>Job Type</strong>: Part-Time</p><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $ 22.17 per hour </p><p>Shifts: Monday - Sunday, Rotational shifts - 5 AM - 5 PM and 5PM - 5AM (full availability is an asset)</p><p> </p><p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .</li><li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li><li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li><li>Valid <strong>Ontario security guard license and Ontario Driving License.</strong></li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada <strong>for 40 hours per week.</strong></li><li>First Aid and CPR - Level C ; First responders first aid certification is an asset</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</strong><strong> :</strong></p><ul><li>Access control for the facility/area</li><li>Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times</li><li>Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate</li><li>Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.</li><li>Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies</li><li>Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager</li><li>Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents</li><li>Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc. </li><li>Perform in-car/vehicle patrols </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p><p> </p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
