Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

• Title: Security Guard
• Job Type: Full – Time
• Par Rate – $17.50 per hour
• Shift – Continental Rotation 7am – 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Location – Emergency Shelters, Mississauga
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Eligible to work FT permanent schedule
• Shelter experience an asset

Requirement:

• 1-2 years of experience in security.

• Open availability for morning/overnight 12 hour shifts.

. Reliable source of transportation.

• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.

• First Aid and CPR.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

• Great customer service, ability to enforce rules & protocols, pay attention to detail.

• Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.

• Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

• Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.

• Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
