Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Mississauga, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Professional
Location: Etobicoke, ON, M8V 0A1
Type: Full Time – Permanent
Pay Rate: $17.85 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday (16:00 – 24:00)
Overview :
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at a warehouse. This position involves providing security and monitoring services with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
- Monitor Access Points: Control entry and exit at the gatehouse, ensuring that only authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles are granted access to the premises.
- Check Identification: Verify identification, such as employee badges or visitor passes, to ensure proper authorization before allowing access.
- Monitor Surveillance Systems: Regularly monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security devices to detect and report any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via a radio with the site control guard and other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
- Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 1-2 years of experience working in security.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
