Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems and perform regular patrols to deter and detect any suspicious activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
  • Operate CCTV systems effectively to monitor activities within designated areas.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management immediately.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during investigations or emergencies.

Skills

  • Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
  • Background in law enforcement or security services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential threats or irregularities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond effectively in various situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.07-$19.83 per hour

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
