Seasonal Packager

Nadège Patisserie is a boutique bakery and retailer that combines the art of French pastry with fresh, modern panache.

We are currently looking to hire Full-Time Packagers to join our growing team!

LOCATION: 855 Oxford St, Toronto, ON M8Z 1L6 (Islington and Evans)

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility in this position will be packaging our products, such as macarons and chocolate, for our stores and events. Duties include:

• Bag products
• Unpack boxes
• Special events packaging for weddings, etc.
• Quality control (check expiry dates)
• Label products
• Use a machine to print images onto macarons
• Put items onto the loading dock
• Other duties as required
• The secondary aspect of this position will be providing assistance to the Order Desk. Duties include:
• Answer incoming calls and re-direct calls as necessary
• Receive and process all customer orders
• Call customers on schedule for taking orders
• Customer service – ensure an excellent and pleasant customer experience while simultaneously finding opportunities to upsell.
• Respond to emails
• Issue resolution
• Filing/faxing/data entry/invoicing/other related administrative tasks
• Follow up with new customers, set up appointments
• Other duties are required.

Preferred Qualifications and/or Experiences:*Seasonal Contract Ends: December 23, 2024*

• Must have flexible availability work weekdays, weekends, and be flexible as required as well as holidays, peak hours as needed.
• Must be able to carry 25 lbs
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to balance quality and speed
• Strong attention to detail
• Can legally work in Canada
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Results-oriented, flexible, adaptable, team player

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
