Sanitation Worker

Pivotal Staffing is hiring for a full-time sanitation associate to manage facility and equipment cleaning for our client in Etobicoke, ON

Must be able to read and interpret standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, and to complete cleaning records in conjunction with our quality department. In times when facility sanitation is caught up, the candidate would be working with our production department assisting with packaging.

Rate would be $18.00/hr to $19.00/hr

7am-5pm and 2pm-12am and 9pm-1am

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Clean, maintain and organize warehouse and production areas, offices, kitchen, restrooms, etc
• Sanitize and clean industrial equipment according to GMP standards and guidelines, maintain GMP sanitation standards throughout facility
• Manage cleaning products and ensure proper storage and use
• Partner with production team members to ensure clean workspaces are a top priority
• Adhere to GMP and safety procedures
• Complete paperwork
• Support other departments and functions of production as required
• Communicate with QA Manager for direction
• Proactive ability to prioritize duties to current production needs.
• Perform warehouse tasks according to standard operating procedures, policies and Good Manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Assist and guide other associates in their assigned duties when needed.
• Attend job trainings related to warehouse, production and machinery for professional growth.
• Stay up-to-date with sanitation processes and procedures.
• Responsible for working in a safe manner and adhering to Health and Safety practices.
• Identify and report unsafe practices to Supervisors immediately.
• Provides information on warehouse quantities, locations, damages etc. in a timely manner
• Work efficiently in a team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
