Some overnight stays may be required.</li><li>Assigned territory is Enderby, Sorrento, Blind Bay, Chase, Salmon Arm, Armstrong, Sicamous, Falkland, Golden.</li></ul><p>Position Purpose:<br>The Sales Representative position offers an exciting chance to fuel our company's growth. You'll oversee a broad array of existing independent convenience stores customers, driving sales through our varied foodservice and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. We value a competitive edge, sharp critical thinking, and superior communication skills.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers.</li><li>Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.</li><li>Educate the customer on convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.</li><li>Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with the store manager and assist with any opportunities that may arise.</li><li>Minimizes accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows-up on any problems.</li><li>Maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, particularly for products, to ensure competitive pricing.</li><li>Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.</li><li>Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.</li><li>Performing additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate should possess the following:</p><ul><li>Proven success with closing sales for a variety of product lines with B2B</li><li>Proven and successful sales ledger travel & effective time management experience.</li><li>Detail minded and organized, with an ability to work independently with little direction.</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skill set with a demonstrated ability to conduct professional, results driven customer presentations.</li><li>Intermediate abilities with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI</li><li>Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit with competitive drive.</li><li>Sales professional with experience and track record of growing market share</li><li>Proven success with relationship building and providing consultative services for customers</li></ul><p>Compensation<br>$66, target compensation</p>
