Here’s what’s expected of a Sales Associate/Cashier • Warmly welcome, engage and connect with our customers in-store, by phone and online • Always greet children first! • Learn about our products and share your expertise with customers • Add fun to the customer experience by playing with / demonstrating items in aisles or queue line. • Provide children with a memorable experience, playing with and learning about our toys • Be friendly and engage with the customer while processing their transaction • Present a full solution to customers by suggesting value-added items that complement their purchase, so they leave with everything they need • Work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends We Offer • On-the-Job Training to support your learning, development and growth • Great Employee Discount • Employee Benefits for our part-time team members • Flexible Schedules Your Experience • While prior retail experience in a similar role is a definite asset, there are other transferrable skills and experiences that may also enhance your eligibility: Camp experience, e.g., camp counsellor, camper Hospitality experience, e.g., restaurant, hotel, resort “Performance” experience, e.g., drama class, school play, public speaking, etc.
