Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the rooms in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Attendants must provide professional service and be meticulous in their work. </p><p><strong><em>If you are a dynamic individual learning to love and with a knack for details, this job is for you!</em></strong></p><p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Change bed linen daily.</li><li>Vacuum carpeting.</li><li>Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).</li><li>Remove fingerprints and smudges (i.e. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc.)</li><li>Thoroughly clean the bathroom area—wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.</li><li>Adhere to brand standard cleaning requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with standard room set-up.</li><li>Report all damage found in a room immediately.</li><li>Report all missing items in a room and any personal guest items found in vacant rooms immediately.</li><li>Ensuring all “lost and found” items are turned in immediately.</li><li>Shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving room.</li><li>Assist with any additional cleaning chores that may be assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Some heavy lifting required.</li><li>Standing for long periods of time.</li><li>Use of cleaning chemicals</li></ul><p>GDI Services (Canada) LP is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship during the recruitment, assessment, and selection process.
