Job Description

<p>This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing automated stamping and welding systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Robotics Technician handles mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based troubleshooting for robots, presses, and peripheral equipment while ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. They perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, repair and program robotic controllers, and validate all work through structured checks and reports. The position also requires active participation in daily shift meetings, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement programs to maintain equipment reliability and product quality.</p><p><br></p><p>Beyond day-to-day repairs, the technician supports engineering teams with process optimization, robotic path programming, and equipment upgrades across multiple robot platforms. They are expected to document all downtime, uphold 5S standards, and contribute to Kaizen and problem-solving activities. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, proficiency with PLC and robotic systems, and a proactive mindset focused on system improvement and minimizing production interruptions.</p>
