<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Casual Registered Nurse position in the Dialysis Department.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current registration and Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required. </li><li>Current BLS is required.</li><li>Current Hemodialysis experience is considered an asset.</li><li>ICCU or Emergency experience considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum one (1) year recent medical/surgical experience is preferred.</li><li>Nephrology experience and /or completion of the Nephrology certificate preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to function as an independent primary nurse.</li><li>Demonstrated good computer skills.</li><li>Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Highly developed assessment and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Demonstrated initiative and self-direction with ability to work in a geographically independent environment.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and continuing education.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships within team to contribute to a positive work life.</li><li>Is cognizant of emotions and experiences of others while communicating with patient families and team members.</li><li>Able to recognize the importance of managing your emotions and the impact that it has on team morale and performance.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.</li></ul><p><strong>Other pertinent conditions</strong><strong>: </strong></p><ul><li>Salary per the ONA collective agreement ($39.07 per hour to $56.00 per hour)</li></ul><p><strong>Applying to this Position:</strong></p><p>If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for the position, please click on <strong>APPLY NOW</strong> and submit a resume detailing your qualifications.</p><p>We thank all applicants, however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
