This is a rare opportunity for a construction leader who thrives in a hands-on entrepreneurial environment and is eager to build a region team and reputation from the ground up.</p><p>In this role you will serve as Acadians senior-most leader in Halifax responsible for regional strategy operational oversight and building high-trust relationships with clients partners and the local industry. Youll work in close collaboration with the Business Development Manager who reports to you and supports client engagement and lead generation. Together youll form a high-performing tandem that drives regional growth while maintaining excellence in project execution. This is a leadership position that requires proven experience managing people teams and performance.</p><p>What youll do</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p><b>Strategic Leadership & Market Positioning</b></p><ul><li>Set and execute the Halifax market growth strategy ensuring alignment with Acadians broader business objectives.</li><li>Represent Acadian in high-level client conversations industry associations and public forums.</li><li>Work closely with the Business Development Manager to prioritize pursuits shape messaging and guide relationship strategy.</li></ul><p><b>Construction & Operations Oversight</b></p><li>Act as the regional authority on construction feasibility pre-construction strategy and client onboarding.</li><li>Support project delivery from early planning through turnover working in tandem with our Moncton-based teams.</li><li>Ensure local projects reflect Acadians high standards of quality service and communication.</li><p><b>Regional Team Building</b></p><li>Help shape the future Halifax team by identifying talent needs supporting recruitment and fostering a strong local culture.</li><li>Lead and manage the performance of the Business Development Manager and future local staff ensuring accountability growth and alignment with company values.</li><p>What youll need</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><li>10 years in commercial construction ideally with cross-functional experience in project delivery estimating or pre-construction.</li><li>A deep understanding of the Halifax market and a well-developed network of developers consultants and industry stakeholders.</li><li>A proven track record of leading teams and managing people in addition to driving revenue growth winning work and converting relationships into business.</li><li>You are proactive by nature you anticipate needs spot opportunities early and dont wait to be told what to do.
