<p><strong><u>Engine Inspector</u></strong></p><p><strong>Full-time, Perm or 12 months contract (mat leave coverage)</strong></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Mississauga, On</p><p><strong>Hourly Rate</strong>: $34.47 (increases per year as per CBA)</p><p><strong>Day shift</strong> (7am to 3:30pm) some flexibility is there on start times. Candidate must be flexible to move to <strong>afternoon shift</strong> (3:45pm to 12:15am) based on business needs.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Perks:</strong></p><ul><li>Unionized environment</li><li>Full company paid benefits after 2 months (comprehensive)</li><li>DCPP after 1 year (total max contribution of 11.5% (for perm)</li><li>Continuous learning</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform inspection of complete major sub-assemblies & of complete stages of engine build, including the stage prior to "green" and "penalty" run.</li><li>Make visual checks of complete engines before strip, inspect oil flow & observe strip operations.</li><li>Maintain inspection records & prepare reports relevant to the assigned work.</li><li>Inspecting the assembly & strip of complete compressor rotors, compressor casings, gear boxes, front, rear, ¢er bearing assemblies, turbine rotors etc.</li><li>Inspecting complete front- end build stage, rear end build stage, marry-up stage, etc.</li><li>Interpret manuals & drawings.</li><li>Verify the correctness of inspection records, accountability of workmanship.</li><li>Ensure engine inspections meet standards.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Aircraft Maintenance Diploma preferred </li><li>3-5 years' experience.</li><li>Aircraft Maintenance Industry certification.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Action oriented.</li><li>Must hold a PR or Canadian citizenship to be considered</li></ul><p></p>
