Qualifications



  • Previous experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or Manager with an automotive tier 2, tier 1 or OEM manufacturing company

  • Experience with purchasing raw materials for automotive manufacturing production

  • Overseeing an annual spend of $120,000,000/year

  • Experience overseeing or managing buyers


Responsibilities



  • Oversee procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to operations

  • Negotiate supplier contracts and manage key relationships

  • Ensure on‑time supplier delivery and strive for zero defects

  • Lead and develop a 3‑person purchasing team, driving continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with QMS (IATF16949), Health & Safety (ISO45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security requirements

  • Manage budgets, business plan activities, and support APQP/ECR initiatives

  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across purchasing functions
