Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods while adhering to our corporate policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
• Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements, obtain competitive quotes, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and nurture positive relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
• Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Conduct regular market testing of key procured items and track cost savings and avoidance.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and entry of bills into our systems.
• Verify that purchased materials and services meet quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to procurement, safety, and environmental practices.
• Collect and organize manuals and documentation from purchases for future reference.
• Maintain historical records of purchases to support repeatability.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications:

• Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based research.

• Knowledge of grocery operating principles is a plus.
• High level of confidentiality and integrity regarding business and employee matters.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills in Russian are required.
