<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $22.50 to $30.00 per hour.<br /><p>Marquis Snow and Ice Ltd. is seeking Property Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Operations Team for snow and ice removal. As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will perform a multitude of tasks across all service areas of snow and ice removal. The snow and ice removal season runs from November through April, depending on the weather conditions. </p><p><br><br></p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Property Maintenance: Clear and maintain parking lots, sidewalks ad yard areas at commercial and municipal properties. </p><p>Route Planning: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and thorough snow removal services for our clients. Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks based on client needs and weather conditions.</p><p>Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during snow removal operations. Maintain awareness of hazards such as hidden obstacles, low-hanging branches, and pedestrian traffic.</p><p>Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of snow plows and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors for prompt resolution.</p><p>Recordkeeping: Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, routes covered, materials used, and any incidents or observations. Submit daily activity reports and time sheets as required.</p><p>Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, property managers, and members of the public, addressing inquiries and concerns related to snow removal activities. Represent the company in a positive and courteous manner at all times.</p><p>Adaptability: Remain flexible and responsive to changing weather conditions, work schedules, and client priorities. Be prepared to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed during snow events.</p><p>Teamwork: Collaborate with other crew members to support overall property maintenance operations, including road maintenance, landscaping, and general property upkeep, during non-snow seasons.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>WORK CONDITIONS<br /> Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.<br /> Willing to travel regularly to complete on-site maintenance and repairs.<br /> Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<br /> Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.<br /> Work outdoors in various conditions including cold, snow and rain.<br /></p><p><br><br></p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p><p> Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract. </p><ul><li>Ability to work nights, weekends and on public holidays.</li><li>Availability November through April to be on standby and to attend to assigned operations. <br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>MSI is an equal opportunity employer.
