Employees from diverse backgrounds are empowered through engagement, involvement, and growth opportunities in the workplace. </p><p>Location<br><br>Timmins, Ontario </p><p>Schedule<br><br>5x2 </p><p>Purpose<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Assurance, Commissioning & Safety Governance Lead to manage QA/QC programs, commissioning activities, and safety governance on high-value mining projects. This role will ensure projects meet the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards while embedding a strong safety-first culture.<br><br>The successful candidate will also use Microsoft Power BI to develop real-time performance dashboards and reports that integrate QA/QC, commissioning, and safety governance metrics for management and stakeholders. </p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead QA/QC and commissioning programs across multiple capital projects.</li><li>Develop and implement safety risk assessments, inspections, and corrective action plans.</li><li>Ensure compliance with engineering standards, OHSA regulations, and industry codes.</li><li>Coordinate inspections, testing, and validation during construction and pre-commissioning.</li><li>Manage incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement programs.</li><li>Develop and maintain QA/QC, commissioning, and safety performance dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.</li><li>Provide regular reports to senior management on quality and safety performance.</li></ul><p>Training and Education</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.</li><li>8+ years of QA/QC, commissioning, and HSE leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, or construction.</li><li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, commissioning protocols, and OHSA compliance.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI for dashboards, reporting, and performance tracking.</li><li>HSE certifications (CRSP, CSP, CHSC) considered strong assets.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>Deadline to Apply<br><br>September 15, 2025</p><p>We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
