About the role
As a Project Manager your work will have a big impact on the success of our Commercial Insurance strategic projects. People will count on you to manage our Stakeholders’ needs, collaborate with our internal partners, and oversee the resourcing and timelines of our projects.
Offices: Open to all Intact Office Locations Across Canada
Here are a few ways you’ll make a difference:
Oversee the support of addressing major incidents within the commercials line systems and production support structure.
Follow and control the project evolution and communicate the progress made, in line with corporate policies and standards
Manage project risks including contingency and critical path. Manage problems and risk factors with governance in place.
Contribute to the resolution of issues and suggest alternatives to achieve objectives. Make sure an appropriate methodology is used throughout the project lifecycle. Make sure the team has all the necessary tools to do its job.
Qualifications
You have 5 + years in leading projects successfully, negotiating scope, budget and timelines with various stakeholder groups
PMP certification or equivalent trainings considered an asset.
You have strong business, strategic and financial acumen and understand how pieces fit together.
You are assertive and exert positive influence, but aren’t a bull in a china shop.
You forge strong relationships with stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business.
You have strong written communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations to employees and to executives alike.
Ability to remain calm and focused on rapid resolutions on issues.
You are able to work on multiple projects and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment, maintaining grace under pressure with tight deadlines.
You have the proven ability to lead teams in multiple locations and business areas to accomplish a common goal with a focus on supporting the client.
Experience in P&C Insurance and Agile Planning Methodology is an asset.
For Candidates located in Quebec, ability to communicate in English as there is a need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
