<h3>Role</h3>
<p>We’re hiring a Project Director to lead client relationships and oversee delivery across a portfolio of projects spanning government, non-profit, and business sectors. This senior leadership role blends client strategy, delivery oversight, and business development. You’ll work closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and clients to ensure impactful outcomes, while also helping shape new opportunities and mentoring our internal team.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<h3>Client & Leadership</h3>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary lead for a portfolio of government, non-profit, and business clients</li>
<li>Understand client goals and design practical strategies to help them succeed</li>
<li>Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and planning processes</li>
<li>Anticipate challenges, manage shifting needs, and ensure client satisfaction</li>
</ul>
<h3>Project Oversight & Delivery</h3>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Project Managers to scope, plan, and execute projects</li>
<li>Ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals</li>
<li>Track project profitability, resource allocation, and performance metrics</li>
<li>Address roadblocks and make course corrections quickly</li>
<li>Review and refine deliverables to meet quality standards</li>
</ul>
<h3>Business Development & Growth</h3>
<ul>
<li>Identify and pursue new opportunities aligned with Forward Creative’s strengths</li>
<li>Contribute to proposals, pricing, and client presentations</li>
<li>Build and maintain a strong network across key sectors and regions</li>
<li>Represent Forward Creative externally at meetings, events, and panels</li>
</ul>
<h3>Team Leadership & Mentorship</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance and support to project teams across disciplines</li>
<li>Mentor staff in project delivery, problem-solving, and client engagement</li>
<li>Promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture</li>
<li>Contribute to internal process improvements and agency development</li>
</ul>
<h3>Your Skills & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>You’re a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader.</li>
<li>You can see the big picture without losing track of the details.</li>
<li>You’re confident in a room full of decision-makers, calm in complex moments, and ready to drive change where it matters.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of experience in strategic consulting, public sector delivery, or agency leadership</li>
<li>Strong background in one or more of: government consulting, nonprofit strategy, SME advisory</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver cross-functional projects</li>
<li>Skilled in client communication, stakeholder management, and team coaching</li>
<li>Solid understanding of financial tracking, project forecasting, and margin management</li>
<li>Experience in business development, proposal positioning, and partnership building</li>
<li>Clear, concise communication and a collaborative leadership style</li>
<li>A commitment to results, growth, company culture, and continuous improvement</li>
