Project Coordinator & Inventory Control

Duties
Estimating
Collaborate with the Lead Estimator for contract bids on low-rise and high-rise projects.
Review drawings and scope of work, creating takeoff bids for submittals.
Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of projects to ensure all areas of work are clearly defined.
Consult with builders and décor centers to resolve or clarify any issues or discrepancies in documentation.
Lead and facilitate the end-to-end pricing process; handle pricing extras as requested by builders and create UPG billing charts.
Review and identify any unusual issues requiring pre-approval before work commencement.
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including builders, décor centers, and sales staff.
Ensure all documentation is consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle, including change orders and requests.
Resolve issues or discrepancies with builders raised by Moscone site supervisors.
Address issues such as structural changes from original drawings and communicate with builders for any price changes.
Prepare billing schedules for Accounts Receivable.
Inventory Control
Work with the Purchasing Department and Material Control for bulk buying and material forecasting, ensuring sufficient inventory levels.
Oversee periodic cycle counts by preparing spreadsheets, tags, and count sheets.
Coordinate and manage annual inventory counts.
Review current processes to ensure compliance and inventory controls are followed, identifying efficiencies and potential improvements.
Requirements
5 years of experience in project coordination, inventory control, or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and documents.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with software tools such as SAGE, BlueBeam and PlanSwift are an asset.
Keen eye for detail to identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation and inventory.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
