(West) – Doctors for Clean Air & Climate Action</p><p>Reporting to: State lead – Doctors for Clean Air & Climate Action, Deputy Director – Doctors for Clean Air & Climate Action</p><p>Secretariat in Delhi</p><p>Location Preference: Delhi NCR</p><p><b>About Lung Care Foundation</b><br/>Lung Care Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the cause of promoting clean air and better Lung Health in India. Our initiatives are recognized by dignitaries at national and international level, including by the Prime Minister of India and the President of India. Our commitment to this mission is reflected in our groundbreaking initiative, “Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA),” which has garnered global recognition and support from prestigious entities such as the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN), and leading newspapers.</p><h3><b>Role And Responsibilities</b></h3><p>You will play a key role in assisting our state leads for planning, organising, and executing air quality activities and campaigns in the state. This involves close coordination with different stakeholders of the city action group including the Government, civil society, doctors, academic institutions, medical associations, media, among others. You will assist the doctors in various research related activities (like data collection, and analysis) that they may undertake in the state. You will also be working under the supervision of the DFCA secretariat in Delhi to understand the larger strategic framework of the activities in the state, report about the progress on various activities and learn about the different kinds of resources to be disseminated. In addition to your active engagement with the stakeholders your responsibilities will include, aligning efforts, and contributing to effective implementation of air quality program in the state. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to make a tangible impact on achieving clean air objectives in the state.</p><h3><b>Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>A passion for clean air advocacy, and commitment to driving positive change.</li><li>1-2 years’ experience in program coordination, preferably in healthcare, environmental advocacy, or public health campaigns.</li><li>A postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of Social Work (MSW), Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
