Production Assembler

Nova Staffing is seeking an Mechanical Assembler for a client in Mississauga. Please see below for details.

Responsibilities:

• Help to operate the brake press machine and lathe machine
• Assemble frames for metal enclosures
• Use hand and power tools
• Read blueprints and diagrams
• Perform electrical assembly of parts
• Be able to lift 40-50lb

Qualifications:

• Must have Strong math and measurement skills
• Must have 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have at least 1+ year of brake press operating experience
• Must be capable of lifting 40-50lb

Shift time:

Day shift – 7:30AM – 4:00PM (also must be able to work 2 Saturdays of the month)

Payrate:

$18/hr

Position is full-time, ongoing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
