<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong> Product Manager – CPG</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $80,000–$95,000 base salary + benefits</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>Our client is a mission-driven food company focused on delivering high-quality, ethically sourced protein products across North America. As the company continues to expand its product portfolio and national retail presence, they are looking to hire a <strong>Product Manager</strong> to oversee the development, launch, and lifecycle of their growing line of consumer goods.</p><p><br /></p><p>This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, operations, marketing, and finance to ensure each product delivers on quality, margin, and market expectations.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>Product Development & Portfolio Management</p><ul><li>Lead the product lifecycle from concept through commercialization</li><li>Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals and consumer trends</li><li>Conduct competitive analysis and trend research to guide product innovation</li><li>Define product specifications, cost targets, and performance benchmarks</li><li>Manage product launches, discontinuations, and SKU rationalization initiatives</li></ul><p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><ul><li>Partner with supply chain, operations, and manufacturing to manage timelines and co-packer relationships</li><li>Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans</li><li>Work with Finance to monitor costs, margins, and pricing strategy</li><li>Ensure strong communication across departments to align goals and timelines</li></ul><p>Quality & Compliance</p><ul><li>Oversee regulatory and QA documentation required for product launches</li><li>Work with internal and external teams to maintain product integrity and compliance</li><li>Support packaging updates and ingredient changes when needed</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>3–5 years of experience in product management, commercialization, or product development in the CPG or food & beverage industry</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related field</li><li>Proven ability to lead projects from ideation through execution</li><li>Strong analytical skills and business acumen</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities</li><li>Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment</li><li>Experience with co-manufacturers or co-packers is a strong asset</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)</li><li>Experience with PLM or ERP systems is a plus</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Terra Recruitment is proud to partner with organizations that value diversity and inclusion.
