Responsibilities
- Administer various procurement processes and analyze resource and financial data, providing leadership and support to staff for all functions associated with procurement administration.
- Meet with project managers, senior management from Procurement, DTS Finance, and vendor partners to manage procurement processes.
- Make recommendations to improve business processes within procurement.
Qualifications
- Essential:
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or completion of a professional procurement designation. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Experience analyzing and defining business problems, developing business cases, and identifying appropriate processes.
- Experience with data collection, management and analysis.
- Experience analyzing processes and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrates problem‑solving skills and critical thinking.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for various audiences.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Effective time management and demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong decision‑making skills.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) or similar software applications.
- Experience working in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
- Desired:
- Experience with SAP—creating Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions.
