Press Operator PERMANENT 3 shift rotation - $30/hr + benefits<BR><BR>LOCATION: Mississauga, Ontario<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR> High School Diploma<BR> Certification in Printing an asset<BR> Experience in flexographic printing and handling solvent-based inks<BR> 2 years+ experience running gearless Flexo Press Machine<BR> Ability to work within a team and complete the setup within the allocated time<BR> Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs<BR> Good mechanical aptitude<BR> Good time management skills<BR> Excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR> Knowledge of Health & Safety standards<BR><BR>Duties:<BR><BR> Set up and run a modern gearless wide web 8 color Flexographic Press using solvent-based inks to produce packaging products<BR> Diligently read Production Sheets and follow the printing instructions while working towards increasing operational and customer satisfaction<BR> Adjust the speed of the press according to the run time<BR> Responsible for delivering the entire printing job using the correct type of ink, plates and materials as specified<BR> Achieve production targets while maintaining quality<BR> Monitor regular press runs for quality control<BR> Communicate with Press Helpers and Supervisors regarding the status of the job<BR> Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine<BR> Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area<BR> Perform other duties as assigned
