<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment</li>
<li>Assess patients' physical abilities</li>
<li>Assist health care professionals</li>
<li>Assist physicians in the assessment of patients</li>
<li>Develop information materials for patients</li>
<li>Help medical examiner in charge</li>
<li>Help physical therapists</li>
<li>Maintain prescription records</li>
<li>Administer evaluative tests and procedures</li>
<li>Clean and maintain equipment</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies</li>
<li>Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices</li>
<li>Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation</li>
<li>Maintain supplies</li>
<li>Perform general clerical duties</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas</li>
<li>Process files and paperwork</li>
<li>Schedule and confirm appointments</li>
<li>Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history</li>
<li>Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments</li>
<li>Order supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Organize and maintain inventory</li>
</ul>
