<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>July 10, 2025</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>GROVESMEMORIAL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>POSTING #2024-294</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>PHYSIOTHERAPIST</strong></p><p>(TEMPORARY PART TIME)</p><p><br /></p><p>A Temporary Part Time Physiotherapist position is available at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.</p><p><br /></p><p>This position is a non-unionized position.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform physical and functional assessment of patients with disabilities, analyze findings, establish treatment <span >objectives/treatment</span> plan</li><li>Treat patients by means of modality, exercise, manual skill, education; modify objectives and treatment plan as indicated by progress</li><li>Educate patients and families, including instruction on the proper use of assistive and adaptive device</li><li>Consult and collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members on patient&#39;s status and treatment</li><li>Organize and manage daily caseload with Physiotherapy Assistant</li><li>Review/document patient&#39;s status and progress on patient chart</li><li>Record workload measurement for patient care</li><li>Management of department inventory and equipment</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Graduated from an accredited Physiotherapy Program</li><li>A license by the Ontario College of Physiotherapists</li><li>Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association</li><li>Clinically-Manual Therapy Courses preferred</li><li>Current BCLA CPR Certification</li><li>Sincere interest in quality patient care</li><li>Top physical condition to endure heavy, demanding conditions, including constant standing, moving, lifting, bending, etc. (must meet all requirements of an occupational demands analysis)</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work well as an effective team member, as well as function comfortably independently</li><li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills which are an absolute necessity</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Satisfactory performance and attendance required</li><li>Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date</li><li>Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check</li><li>Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>SALARY:</strong></p><ul><li>$50.07 - $58.57 per hour</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Interested applicants</strong> please submit your cover letter and resume on BambooHR at the following link: <span >https://whca.bamboohr.com/jobs/</span></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>INTERNAL applicants please apply with your work email address.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>EXTERNAL applicants</strong> are considered only after the internal posting process has been completed.
