
Five Counties Children's Centre
We are accepting applications for a contract Physiotherapist in our Peterborough location working 21 hours per week. This contract will be for approximately 12 months.
In this role, you will assess, treat, provide consultation to and discharge children and adolescents referred for physiotherapy.
You will provide consultation, training and education to clients, their caregivers and other professionals. You will have the opportunity to participate as a member of clinical multidisciplinary teams and resource committees to promote quality service for clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessment and reassessment of clients referred for physiotherapy.
Provide a service plan for client care in consultation with the client’s caregiving team (including the client, family, other therapists and other agencies).
Maintain knowledge of current practices/equipment in the field of physiotherapy.
Comply with relevant Centre statistical, clinical and administrative reporting requirements in a timely manner.
What You Bring:
Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
Registration with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Demonstrated communication, organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
Committed to working within a family-centred approach.
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with FCCC staff and other professionals in the community.
Access to reliable transportation to be able to travel to a variety of locations.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and clear vulnerable sector check.
May be required to work occasional evenings or weekends.
