(KBS) strives to be the support our clients rely on, as they build their business, and achieve or exceed their goals.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Job Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li> Manage payroll deadlines for clients, ensuring no deadlines are missed</li><li> Ensure that payroll legislation is followed and updated as required by legislation updates</li><li> Reconcile all payroll accounts on the balance sheet to ensure that payroll entries are clearing correctly</li><li> Post outside payroll to the accounting software promptly ensuring all accounts on the balance sheet reconcile to the payroll software</li><li> Setting up memorized entries, when able, in the client files to alleviate the need for manual entry</li><li> Work on client files, using Hubdoc / QBO / Xero / QuickBooks Desktop / Sage / AgExpert</li><li> Complete engagements in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness</li><li> Assist with bookkeeping engagement when requested</li><li> Complete additional responsibilities and activities as requested</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li> You understand and agree to work with the same VALUES upheld by KBS</li><li> Complete certification for Wagepoint, Xero, and QBO within the first three (3) months of employment</li><li> Advanced excel knowledge, being able to use them effectively and efficiently, creating and maintaining sheets</li><li> Communicate in a professional manner both written and verbally, using correct grammar and no texting lingo</li><li> Prepare business correspondence in a professional manner; including but not limited to emails, corporate letters, and memos, when requested documents etc.</li><li> Exceptional organizational and time management skills</li><li> Ability to work with and improve disorganized records</li><li> Enter data accurately with a sense of urgency </li><li> Detail oriented and accurate in task and completion</li><li> Willingness to learn and adapt to change</li><li> Possesses a positive attitude, able to work independently or as part of a team, and shows exceptional tact and sensitivity with clients</li><li> You uphold all professional membership codes of conduct and ethics that you belong to when applicable</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li> Specifics will be outlined in individual contracts and the KBS Employee Handbook (BambooHR)</li><li> This position reports to Melissa Lenos</li><li>Compensation will depend on prior experience and will include, matching RRSP & TFSA, life insurance package, HSA and WSA benefits</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Those chosen for the next portion of interviewing will be contacted, anyone not moved forward to the next portion, thank you for your interest in the position.</p></p></p>
