Job Posting PASS – ESL, LINC and CNC Program Manager The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 38,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education, the Program Manager of English Language Programs will be jointly responsible for the overall program management of the ESL, LINC and CNC (Care for Newcomer Children) programs for St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centres.

These programs are offered at multiple locations in the region and online. Ensure program compliance to IRCC, MLITSD and Region of Waterloo contracts, guidelines and policies in the delivery of English Language programs and CNC Ensure appropriate staffing to support the ESL, LINC and CNC programs and provide direct supervision of staff Plan and implement staff training to maintain program functioning and site safety Be a lead learner to plan, facilitate and create resources for effective PD for all staff to build efficacy and increase student achievement and program success Visioning, planning, monitoring, and reporting of program budget and student achievement Marketing and communication tasks related to the day-to-day delivery of the ESL, LINC and CNC programs Provide student management, support and guidance as needed Actively participate in St.

Louis Program Council Monitor program metrics and collaborate with the leadership team to support the school community to create and implement the Student Achievement Plan and Equity Plan Build and maintain relationships with community partners Some travel required M inimum Requirements: TESL certification Post-secondary degree in a related field Familiarity with ESL/LINC curriculum and resources and PBLA pedagogy Effective leadership, problem solving and crisis management skills Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and teamwork skills Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite and database experience Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle Desirable Assets: Staff supervision experience Knowledge and experience using the learning platform Avenue, and student data management system HARTS Experience managing multiple sites Knowledge of Trauma-Informed practices and delivery models Program delivery experience in ESL and/or LINC Salary Range: Level 8(41), $65,736- $77,33 per year in accordance with the PASS Terms Hours of Work: Full-time, 35 hours per week / 41 weeks per year. Monday to Friday with evening hours for program supervision (September to June).

Weekly schedule to be determined in collaboration with school administration. Position start date September 3, 2024.
