Part-Time Household Assistant

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Position Summary:
A busy household in Conestogo, Ontario, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with daily household tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized home, handling basic food preparation, and running local errands. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their work and can commit to a consistent daytime schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Kitchen Duties:
– Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware
– Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and appliances
– Perform routine kitchen tidying and organization

2. Grocery Shopping:
– Purchase groceries and household supplies as needed
– Adhere to shopping lists or meal-prep requirements

3. Food Preparation:
– Wash, chop, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients
– Assist with light meal preparation or cooking tasks

4. Errands and Transportation:
– Pick up and drop off dry cleaning
– Handle other local errands as needed
– Must have a reliable car and valid driver’s license

5. Household Tidying:
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in living areas
– Dispose of trash and recycling in the proper manner

6. Laundry Services:
– Sort, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens
– Put away clean laundry in designated areas

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in housekeeping, home management, or related fields is preferred
– Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
– Ability to handle and lift light to moderate loads (laundry, groceries, etc.)
– Attention to detail and ability to work independently
– Punctual, trustworthy, and committed to a regular work schedule
