Parking Manager


Reporting to the Director of Parking & Mobility, this Parking Manager position will manage day-to-day event parking and transportation operations at TD Coliseum, Hamilton, ON.

Position Summary


Oversee all parking and transportation activities at TD Coliseum, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and superior guest service. Manage a team of part‑time parking supervisors, maintain and troubleshoot PARCS systems, and support strategic planning, budgeting, and sustainability initiatives.

Salary and Bonus


Annual salary of $75,000 CAD with bonus eligibility.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement efficient procedures to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Hire, develop, train, and support a team of in‑house part‑time parking supervisors.

  • Ensure all parking systems (PARCS) are operational and perform minor maintenance on ticketing stations and barrier gates.

  • Train staff on remote management of PARCS systems and inspect all parking devices for functionality.

  • Assist the Director in creating new parking products, revenue streams, and cost‑saving initiatives.

  • Support sustainability goals, including revenue, system performance, and operational audits.

  • Contribute to strategic planning, traffic management planning, and budgeting efforts.

  • Prepare monthly reporting for the client.

  • Analyze guest surveys and performance metrics to maximize operational performance.

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to analyze transportation and parking data.

  • Manage rideshare operations, coordination, and partner relationships.

  • Partner with GPS wayfinding providers (Google, Waze, Apple Maps) to enhance guest experience.

  • Review shuttle driver documentation such as sign‑in sheets and trip logs.


Qualifications



  • 3–5+ years of experience in parking/transportation management; event‑management experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with parking revenue management systems.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact comfortably with the public.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
