Position Summary

Carraway is looking for dedicated and motivated individuals looking for a part time job in the customer service industry as a parking ambassador.

The position is located at The International Centre in Mississauga.

Description of Duties:

• Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
• Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
• Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
• Direct guests to available parking spaces and strategically manage lots space to maximize passenger vehicle and tour bus parking
• Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas
• Manage the docking area by forming a queue with the trucks and or/trailers

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to work outdoors for long periods
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Lift a maximum of 15 pounds
• Must posses a phone with data
• Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Must be dependable, available, physically fit, and have good character

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years customer service experience

Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Actively looking for ways to help people
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills;
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment;
• Good public speaking and presentation skills in group settings;
• Team player

Hours

This is a Part-Time Contract position working Mondays – Sundays

Location:

The International Centre (6900 Airport Rd)

Compensation

$17.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
