Position Summary
Carraway is looking for dedicated and motivated individuals looking for a part time job in the customer service industry as a parking ambassador.
The position is located at The International Centre in Mississauga.
Description of Duties:
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
- Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
- Direct guests to available parking spaces and strategically manage lots space to maximize passenger vehicle and tour bus parking
- Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas
- Manage the docking area by forming a queue with the trucks and or/trailers
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to work outdoors for long periods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Lift a maximum of 15 pounds
- Must posses a phone with data
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Must be dependable, available, physically fit, and have good character
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years customer service experience
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Actively looking for ways to help people
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills;
- Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills;
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment;
- Good public speaking and presentation skills in group settings;
- Team player

Hours
This is a Part-Time Contract position working Mondays – Sundays
Location:
The International Centre (6900 Airport Rd)
Compensation
$17.00
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
