Packer and Cleaner (afternoon shift)

Packer and Cleaner:
ARMOR-IIMAK Canada is seeking a Packer and Cleaner. In this position you will be a key member of the team producing product for the food and pharmaceutical industries that touch our everyday lives.

• Min qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Common sense understanding to carryout written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving some variability.
• Read and understand production specifications and bill of materials
• Past packing and/or janitorial experience an asset
• Able to lift 40-lbs (not often)

Job description:

• On their feet most of the workday
• Packing finish products (training will be provided):
• Use quality control equipment to ensure products always meet specifications
• Complete paperwork to properly record production output
• Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner
• At least 10% of time at work dedicated to janitorial duties

WORK SCHEDULE (Afternoon shift): Mon-Thu 3:00pm – 1:00am (includes shift premium)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
