Who Is Tire Hotel?

We are a seasonal tire storage operation that delivers and picks up sets of tires at dealerships and stores them in our temperature-controlled warehouse. Our Woodbridge facility services our clients throughout Southern Ontario. Our clients are located throughout the Greater Toronto Area and in Oshawa, Ajax, Barrie, Kitchener, and London.

Job Description:

The Order Picker will work with a team in our climate-controlled Warehouse. We are a tire storage facility where candidates hired would assist the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead in picking, staging, and putting away sets of tires on a day-to-day basis. Daily tasks included but are not limited to picking and staging sets of tires and putting away sets of tires arriving back to the facility. Picking tires includes stacking tires 4 or 6 high onto pallets, scanning tire labels, and using a reach lift (cherry picker machine) to store tires in racking to a maximum of 30 ft high. Tires will be manually moved one at a time from pallet to racking and pushed/rolled into place; racking is a 5ft deep tire, go 2 at the back and 2 in front, scanning tire label and racking label to confirm inventory location. This process requires a lot of moving, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 70lbs. Maintaining a productive rate of picking and storing tires, ensuring processes are followed to maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse safety protocols are being followed.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Shift:
– Early AM Shift – 12:00 am – 8:30 am
– Day Shift – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
– Afternoon – 3:00 pm to 11:30 am

Experience:
– Loading & Offloading trucks using tire dollies (preferred but not required)
– Safety Boots (Required)
– Cherry picker license (Required)

Requirements:
– Ability to safely lift 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
– Must be able to perform standing, squatting, walking, and lifting to 70 lbs.
– Ability to learn and receive feedback from management and experienced peers.
– Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.
– Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
– Ability to maintain prompt and regular job attendance.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Incentive Bonus – performance bonus in addition to base wage for productivity targets.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
