Job Title: Order Entry Coordinator
Job Description
As an Order Entry Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of orders with a commitment to a 24-hour turnaround time. Your primary mode of communication with clients will be through email, and your role will involve ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
Responsibilities
- Review orders submitted by stores for completeness and accuracy, checking against previously obtained information and customer programs as necessary.
- Create and submit orders in the commercial order entry system within agreed timelines with minimal error rate.
- Provide confirmation to stores upon order submission.
- Track store order submission error rates and provide reporting to management.
- Coordinate activities with other functional areas to address product shortages or unavailability.
- Inform stores of anticipated delays due to product shortages and replacement orders where product is no longer available.
- Organize work with peers to prevent order entry duplication and track throughput.
- Submit order cancellation requests in a timely manner as needed.
- Actively provide input to key stakeholders focused on data integrity and quality to ensure optimal order throughput. Action individual takeaway items as required.
- Escalate issues requiring additional support to management and/or IT.
- Compile and maintain order-related statistics and prepare reports for management and key stakeholders.
- Bring process inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Execute and manage assigned work within allotted timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in order entry and data entry.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in sales support and order processing.
- Customer support capabilities.
- Bilingual - French - Preferred
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in office settings and order fulfillment.
Work Environment
This role requires working in the office four days a week from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays being remote. You will be reporting to a manager and working alongside one other team member in the same role. Close collaboration with the Sales teams is essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Oakville, ON.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.75 - $25.75/hr.
