<h3>Ophthalmologist/Glaucoma Practice (Locum)</h3><ul><li><strong>Fully equipped clinic:</strong> HVF, FDT, OCT with Forum (glaucoma workplace), Clarus fundus photography, IOLMaster 700, OPD, and on‑site <strong>SLT/YAG</strong></li><li><strong>Streamlined patient flow:</strong> Dedicated surgical counsellors for cataract & glaucoma; assistant/scribe support for documentation</li><li><strong>Hospital access:</strong> One dedicated hospital day/week with in‑lane laser for LSL and access to 5‑FU</li><li><strong>Collegial team:</strong> Two additional ophthalmologists (medical glaucoma & comprehensive) and strong peri‑operative support</li></ul><h3>Surgical scope (as applicable to candidate)</h3><ul><li>Cataract surgery and <strong>MIGS</strong> (iStent infinite, iStent inject W, XEN, Preserflo, KDB)</li><li>Trabeculectomy, <strong>Ahmed</strong> and <strong>ClearPath</strong> shunts</li><li>Reliable access to corneal patch grafts and modern glaucoma devices</li><li><strong>Minimum commitment:</strong> 2 months (flexible start)</li><li><strong>Workload:</strong> Busy practice with the ability to tailor clinic and OR volumes to your preferred workflow</li><li><strong>Pathway to more:</strong> Option to begin with a shared workflow ramp‑up, then transition to independent coverage for the duration you choose</li><li><strong>Future in Saskatoon:</strong> Separate opportunity exists as the city is recruiting a <strong>permanent surgical glaucoma specialist</strong></li></ul><h3>Job Qualifications</h3><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>RCPSC certification (or eligibility) in Ophthalmology</li><li>Registration/licensure with the <strong>College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)</strong> and an active Saskatchewan medical license</li><li>Demonstrated experience in glaucoma care; fellowship training preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><h3>How to express interest</h3><p>Email dr.gcb@usask.ca with your CV and availability.
