Our collaborative and innovative approach focuses on long-term partnerships with governments and industry.</p><p><strong>Position Summary: </strong></p><p>The Manager, Project Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of infrastructure projects, including asset management, risk management, quality control, and project/facility operations. This role will report directly to the Group Head, Project Operations Management.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Project Management:</p></li><ul><li><p>Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.</p></li></ul><li><p>Contract Administration:</p></li><ul><li><p>Manage contracts and subcontracts.</p></li><li><p>Resolve contract disputes and claims.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.</p></li></ul><li><p>Financial Management:</p></li><ul><li><p>Develop and manage project budgets.</p></li><li><p>Track project costs and expenses.</p></li><li><p>Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.</p></li></ul><li><p>Risk Management:</p></li><ul><li><p>Identify and assess project risks.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and control project risks throughout the project lifecycle.</p></li></ul></ul><p><strong>Must Haves:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of experience in infrastructure project management, preferably in P3 infrastructure or large-scale capital projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Haves:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.</p></li><li><p>Facilities Management certifications (e.g., IFMA, FMP).</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation Disclosure</strong></p><p><em>Compensation for all roles Axis recruits for is multi-faceted and based on a range of factors including experience, skills, location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include performance-based bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits offering, in accordance with applicable Employment Standards Act (ESA) requirements.
